“FRESCO”, an intra department IT fest  was organized by the  Sparkle on 26^th of September 2013 to identify  & enhance the talent of students. 

The function was inaugurated by the guest , Mr. Vipin Kumar, Lead, Education & research department, Infosys , Mangalore.

Technical events like Coding , web designing, IT quiz , IT marketing, Best Manger were conducted for the students on that day. All the students have actively participated in the fest.

Exhibition 2013:A Technical Exhibition "Evolution of Technology and Cyber Security" organised from 26th August 2013 to 5th September

Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Department of Master of Computer Applications organized a Technical Exhibition on “Evolution of Technology & Cyber Security” on 26^th  of August 2013 at the New PG Block . The programme was inaugurated by the guest  Mr. Shrinivas Bhat, Senior Manager , Diya Systems pvt Ltd, Mangalore.

 

 

First Section is the evolution of  technology,  showcase products which will be related to the computer peripherals of hardware like RAM, Secondary Storage, Mother Board , Mouse, Keyboard, versions  of laptops, mobiles, audio systems etc.  and the software like the  functioning  of WiFi, C  Program,   operating   system,  working of touch screen, and  evolution of  different computer games over  50 years.   All  these will be demonstrated with the physical   devices  from old  to new. 

The  second   section is the  cyber  security  highlights  the importance of  security as  a  necessary  approach to protect data and systems. tools of cyber    security and cyber  crimes  which   demonstrates hash calc, invisible  secret, cyber  check  suite, wire-shark, sys-internal tool, advanced office  password recovery,     f-dac,  f-rat  etc.  with  the help   of  solved  case  studies.
